It's nice to have an apartment where you were friends with your roommates before they lived with you, things are just so much more fun. I love having all of our friends over and having a good time. It's always really good to see everybody outside of school and stress etc. I also really like having a more active SPS this year, it's fun to go on trips with everyone.

I'm not sure if I had a point to all this, just stating my good fortune I guess.

I'm going to my Dad's work on Friday so he can fix my exhaust. We also are gonna fix my horn and the PCV at some point before the end of the month, so hopefully that will fix my check engine light.

I'm going to go visit my Mom, Casey, and Jimmy this weekend. I don't want to have to spend the weekend in Lowell. It will be good to see them.

I don't really want to say anything else. Who knows what will happen?

Things I'm looking forward to in the next couple months:

Katelyn's sister's wedding (maybe?)
My 1 year anniversary with Katelyn (!)
Halloween (I'm supposed to be a Coke bottle, we'll see :P)
Thanksgiving
Christmas
Katelyn's birthday (speaking of which I should figure out what I'm going to get her, along with her x-mas present(s) )
New Years (mental note/or if you see this Katelyn, are we going to go/do something this year, maybe with Rhonda and Eric?)

So Warhammer Online is scheduled to ship Sept. 16, and then Fallout 3 is coming out Oct. 7. Can you say excited? I'm not sure yet how much Fallout 3 is actually gonna be like 1 and 2 considering it's non-isometric real-time and built in the Oblivion engine. I'm pessimistic but I'm witholding judgement.

I really miss Katelyn.

I still have to get through a closing shift, a double, two days of abject boredom, and yet another week of work (with a final for my summer class thrown in there too) before I even have the chance of seeing her again.

This sucks.

I got a job at Walmart, orientation is on Wednesday. Feel free to make jokes and use some tried and true cliches, I would too! I got a job as a cashier, I expect it to be a pretty laid back job, barring having to deal with too many ghetto-fabulous and rednecks. It's in BIllerica though, so at least that's a little less urban than the Lowell one is.

My interview at Applebees went fine, supposed to get a call soon from the GM to come in for another (and hopefully final) interview.

Leaving tomorrow to spend the weekend in New York to see the family. Should be fun and at least it will be nice driving weather.

I also now know more than I should about tacos thanks to Wikipedia. Hopefully some very good things will come of this if a change is made to how the shells are made.

Radiohead is pretty much the most awesome thing ever still. Check out this aaaaaaaaaaamazing remix of their song "Nude" done with old tech.

Life is pretty boring right now. Still on the job hunt, I have an interview at Applebee's tomorrow. I don't really want to work in another restaurant, but something is better than nothing, and it'll probably pay better than a retail job. Hopefully I'll get that job, and then I should probably try to get a second job too as I really need the money.

So basically I've just been driving around filling out a billion boring applications. The video game I was playing got boring, so I've sorta just been in a comatose boredom lately.

The "Bevan family party" is on Saturday, I'll probably be leaving on Friday so I can spend some time with my mom, Casey, and Jimmy. After that I'll leave on Sunday or Monday, and hopefully be able to visit Katelyn in Pittsfield. I miss her.

Dont be jealous, but my girlfriend is more talented than you.

I went to the Lasell Fashion Show this weekend and got to see some really amazing designs. It really gave me a greater appreciation for how much work they put into their designs.

Katelyn's stuff was, of course, amazing!

If there's one thing I've learned, it's to always appreciate what and who you have. Life is going pretty good, and I'm definitely not taking anything or anyone for granted.

I have a pretty cool job, go to a pretty good school, have some pretty awesome friends, and a lovely and fantasitc girlfriend.

Life is good.

I'm so happy with my life right now. I've got a good job that pays pretty well and is enjoyable, fun, and pretty flexible. I'm back in school and doing better and better every semester. I have my own apartment and am self-sufficient in pretty much all ways. My dental hygeine is so much better and am almost at 100% (of course this is after 9 fillings and $1200 but that was unavoidable). And most importantly I have the most amazing girlfriend ever.

We work so well together and she is such a positive influence in my life. I can't even begin to explain how different this relationship is in comparison to everything that's come before it. The words perfect and relationship are mutually exclusive, but it's just about as close as it gets. We have so much fun together and share the same sense of humor. And what is most surprising is even though we are pretty different in some ways (ie. religion, careers, pessimism/optimism etc) this ends up making things very balanced. Plus I love her family, they are really great, which is a really positive thing all around. She's very family oriented so it makes her happy that I get along with them and it's nice for me to have a good relationship with family. I'm still aprehensive or touchy sometimes about things, but that's just because I'm silly sometimes, I really and truely trust her and know that she loves and cares about me and I love her too.

Of course all that sounds quite sappy to anyone else I'm sure, but it's just so great I thought I'd share it with the interwebs.

Interstellar Ark

One of the most interesting/fun things I've read on the interwebs. Some interesting ideas in there, and at times the way the post is written is poetic. Skip towards the end if you're not a physics nerd (or aren't at least interested in the physics side of things).

PS: Be sure to read the comments too, a lot of good discussion between people and the author.
